What do you get when you take a freshly graduated pharmacist from KL, rile him up about how challenging the world is and what lies out there……
…. then send him packing to a sleepy town called Kuala Terengganu?
A very tulan dude is what you get.
Yup, you get a very disgruntled pharmacist. And a really bored one who’s about to go crazy and bald very soon.
No, not my baldness. This blog.
I’m currently a pharmacy enforcement officer in Kuala Terengganu. I enforce the law everyday and I also make a lot of enemies cause when I’m enforcing the law, I wear a very kanasai face.
But of course, being in this line puts me at great risk. Part of my job entails doing intelligence and going undercover to get evidence on buggers whose asses we then bust.
Think of things like tailing cars all across the state …. posing as an impotent 26 year old Chinese dude to buy counterfeit Viagra …… climbing trees and watching a house with binoculars every night for a week ….. and you get a gyst of what I do.
And when I’m not out there pretending to be a cop, I have a whole lot of spare time on my hands.
So I spend my free time writing lots of nonsense in this blog…..
I must say I’ve always had a passion for writing. So what better way to hone my writing skills than writing nonsense?
I also spend lots of time playing the guitar and recording music
…… and also lots of time shooting raunchy videos of myself in the shower.
You believed me didn’t you? You really did click that link right?
But seriously, I’m somewhat of a guitar fanatic and I play in a band called Inverted Coma. We write our own music and do our own thing.
I always say that if we do not make it as musicians ultimately, we’ll always have careers in the circus to turn to. As clowns. This is one of our more serious moments….
So being in the band and having all that free time here in KT, I make the best of it doing home recording and also, pretty soon, I hope I would’ve learnt enough to shoot my own guitar videos. Beats doing raunchy shower videos anyway…..
So the My Music and My Videos sections are ones to watch out for in the future.
My free time here in KT has also given birth to 2 ideas that I’m proud to say were the result of all my sweat and dirt.
That sounded pretty gross …..
Anyway, firstly, you know those weird gadgets that guitarists use to make all kinds of weird noises that kill small animals? Well, I build casings for those gadgets from scratch. So in other words I’m like a part time carpenter by day and undercover officer by night. More about custom made pedal casings here.
Secondly, the lack of access to medical books had me and 2 other friends seeking an easier solution. To cut a long story short, I now sell medical books online. More details (and for the long story) on Medibuku here.
So there …….. enough about me already.
I just hope you enjoy my blog entries as much as I enjoy writing them …

Updates : As of November 2008, I’ve been transferred back to KL. But that doesn’t mean that jaythean.com will come to a screaming halt. Nope, it just means that all the kanasai-ness has been transferred from KT to KL.
Poor KL.
